“This was mainly Spanish rather than English tour. Lots of walking and no free time taken to some nice places. The place we visited for lunch was not very nice, broken chair and mens toilet didn't flush. but the food was okay. Was taken to a couple of local gift shops. Would have been nice to have had a little free time to explore. Wouldn't recommend this for anyone who have any walking issues.”

“Trip was ok, especially if it is your first time on la Isla Hispañola and you want to learn a little more about the history of it. The cenote stop was average, and quite short. We most liked visiting the cathedral in Santo Domingo. It was quite informative and the self-paced tour of it was perfect. The lunch was also pretty good.”

“I absolutely loved this activity. We had so much fun, the tour guides were full of energy and had us dancing all the way. Saona Island is a must, the water colors are spectacular. Altos de Chavon is so beautiful, it does transport you to a European city, I only wish they had given us a little bit of time to wonder the place on our own as well. I wish I had gotten to see the museum.”

“This was not the trip we booked. It was the worst experience I have ever had. From the time we got on the boat to the beach on Saona to the ride home. The music was so loud and vulgar it was ridiculous. I had to tear up a mask I had and stuff it in my ears. The food on Saona is not a barbecue like advertised it served in steam tables with hundreds of people. You have a designated spot to sit to eat, then fight for a lounge chair. “I would not recommend this trip at all. Transportation is terrible and long. It took us 3 hours, each way to get there. You switch buses, the buses are old. Everyone on the tour, from on the bus to the boat, want tips. They stand over you until you tip them. It states it is an 8 hour tour, but our trip was over 12 hours.”
