“This was by far our favourite tour of the whole holiday. We had Gregorio who was an absolute gem, the drive to the site took about 50 minutes where Gregorio gave us an in depth overview of the history of DR and Haiti. He made sure to slow down at key sites to see animals, mountains and even a local town where he told us about the lives of the Dominican locals. We arrived and were taken to learn about Caçoa and Coffee, where a live demonstration was given and we got to try the Cacoa at different stages, fresh, grounded and as hot chocolate. “Il faudrait préciser qu’il y a 1h de photo pendant l’activité et 15 minutes où vous pouvez toucher les singes sans être pris en photo. On vous fait mettre vos sacs dans des casiers pendant une heure pour les assurer que c’est uniquement eux qui vous prennent en photo. C’est vous la bête de foire : on vous lance des cacahuètes sur la tête et on vous fixe 2 objectifs d’appareils photos devant le visage pour remplir leur album photos afin de vous en vendre a la fin de l’activité. De plus, on vous force a vous taper sur le torse et vous gratter les aisselles en imitant les singes…”
